Itinerary

Day 1
Delhi

Arrival at Delhi Airport / Railway station and and then transferred to the hotel. After that check in at the hotel, in the evening half day sightseeing city tour of Delhi. Visit Raj Ghat, drive past Jama Masjid and the Red Fort. In the afternoon Qutub Minar, India Gate and the Lotus Temple. During your tour drive past the President's House, Parliament House and the Government Secretariat Buildings. Evening visit and shop in the local market of Janpath Market for local shopping (05PM-07PM). Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2
Delhi- Jaipur

After breakfast prooced to Jaipur. Visit the City Palace in the afternoon, which is still the formal residence of the royal family. Also visit Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Deo Temple and the City Palace Museum that has the private collection of Jaipur Maharajas. We also visit Jantar Mantar, a stone observatory, which is the largest of Jai Singh's five remarkable observatories. Overnight stay at the hotel in Jaipur.

Day 3
Jaipur

After breakfast we proceed to visit the Amber Fort, located 11 kilometers away from Jaipur. En-route, visit the Hawa Mahal. Amber was the ancient capital of Kachawaha dynasty before Jai Singh founded Jaipur. Ride an elephant to reach the gates of the fort. In the afternoon take a walk through the colorful Bazaar of Jaipur and visit a factory to see the famous block printing work, which is a specialty of Jaipur. In the evening we drive through the new city of Jaipur and visit Laxmi Narayan Mandir - a Hindu temple built in white marble. Overnight stay at the hotel in Jaipur.

Jaipur - Ranthambore (190 kms/4.5 hrs)

Check out & today continue on your journey to Ranthambore. Check in to the hotel and relax. Spend the day at leisure and enjoy the in-house amenities. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Ranthambore

Enjoy breakfast and spend the day at leisure or head out for safari (by shared gypsy on direct payment basis). Stay overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel. Drive to Jaipur and transfer to airport/railway station for your onward journey.

    Delhi is the second largest metropolis of India after Mumbai and 8th most populous metropolis in the world. Delhi is known to have been continuously inhabited since 6th century BC and through most period of its history, it served as a capital of several kingdoms and empires. It has been invaded and rebuilt several times, particularly during the medieval era. Delhi is also widely believed to have been the site of Indraprastha, popularly known as the legendary capital of the Pandavas during the times of the Mahabharata. Delhi re-emerged as a major political, cultural and commercial city along the trade routes between northwest India. It houses many ancient and medieval monuments, archaeological sites and remains and out of them Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple, Iskcon Temple, India Gate, Birla Mandi are notable.

    Jaipur, the largest city of Rajasthan is popularly known as Pink City. It was founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the ruler of Amber, after whom the city has been named. The city today is remarkable among pre-modern Indian cities for the width and regularity of its streets. The urban quarters are further divided by networks of gridded streets and five quarters wrap around the east, south, and west sides of a central palace quarter. The Palace quarter encloses a sprawling palace complex, formal gardens, and a small lake. Nahargarh Fort, which was the residence of the King Sawai Jai Singh II, crowns the hill in the northwest corner. The observatory, Jantar Mantar, is one of the World Heritage Sites and is an extremely popular tourist destination in Rajasthan and India.

    Ranthambore

    Ranthambore

    Ranthambore is one of the largest national parks in northern India, situated in Sawai Madhopur district of southeastern Rajasthan, about 130 km south east of Jaipur,. The nearest town and railway station is at Sawai Madhopur,and Kota. Ranthambhore was established as the Sawai Madhopur Game Sanctuary in 1955 by the Government of India. It was declared one of the Project Tiger reserves in 1973. Ranthambore became a national park in 1980 as the adjacent forests were declared the Sawai Man Singh Sanctuary and Keladevi Sanctuary, and in 1991 the tiger reserve was enlarged to include two other sanctuaries.
